Imitating its competitors Instagram or Facebook, the Chinese social network is launching (finally) the purchase of products directly on its platform.
TikTok Shopping enters the platform at United States, to Canada and at UK. This new feature will allow merchants on the application to boost their sales, their visibility and their growth.
Vendors will now be able to create a mini-shop on TikTok and include links to products directly in their posted videos. The famous influencer Kylie jenner will be one of the first to use these new services for its brand Kyliecosmetics.
This partnership represents an opportunity for the two giants TitkTok and Shopify. For the Chinese platform, it is about encouraging traders to opt for a social strategy media on TikTok rather than its competitors. Side Shopify, TikTok highlights the stores of its merchants and further strengthens its position as an e-commerce leader.
